A reminder to my PUSD families and friends. Lower birth rates (and lower immigration) will mean fewer schools. It’s happening in every developed country.

An elementary school in Yimianpo is now a storage yard. The number of children in the town has dropped by half and there are fewer than three births per 1,000 residents in the province — China's lowest rate. n.pr/47gUMJ7

The obscene face of Christian Nationalism: outlandish untaxed wealth in defiance of Jesus. Oh, and this time, slave laborers, too! Glory!

Just remember, for any money you give to Heaven, there is always a 100% handling fee here on Earth.

“You feel tough with your assault rifles and your sticks. You should be standing here with us. You’re on the wrong side of history.”

What will it take for the true American patriots to say “enough” and throw these Trumpistas out? Asking for a friend. Several friends actually…

Remember this guy?
We didn’t forget about journalist Jamal Khashoggi, did we?

Murdered inside a Saudi consulate. Dismembered. Then a full-on coverup, sanctioned at the highest levels.

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones says Trump’s anti-DEI policies are making it impossible for America to grapple with history.

On this week's "More To The Story," she discusses the extreme rollback of civil rights across the country.

Interesting. New contracting memorandum from Secy of Defense says military contracts shld stop including language that bars contractors from running segregated facilities.

On Feb. 14th I try always to give honor to one of the greatest contributors to American democracy in our nation’s history, Frederick Douglass. Born into slavery, Douglass never knew his actual birthdate, and adopted Feb. 14th as the day. His penetrating insights about our country inspire me daily.
