In 1978, Gilberto Gil invited Jimmy Cliff to Brazil, considered the moment when reggae was introduced there. Cliff made a second home in 🇧🇷. Reggae superstars would follow. In March 1980, Bob Marley came to Rio. In April, Peter Tosh performed @ São Paulo Jazz Montreux fest. Reggae had arrived.
