Last weekend, and my last night on location, I started this view of the Westport Lighthouse, intending to finish it up during the golden hour, got some done, but suffered an interruption by the camp host. Mostly PA. 12x16 on Canson CP mounted on board.

Here’s one from last summer. This view of Kessiso Rocks, Cape Flattery is down a steep trail. The last 3/4 mile is mostly steps. I was reminded of gold miners toiling up to Chilkoot Pass climbing back outta there with my plein air rig.

We have been treated to some phenomonal sunsets lately

Glad I started this. The Kalaloch Tree of Life has taken a beating by storms this winter, and it is, in every sense of the phrase, hanging in there. The last King Tide/storm combo rammed some big logs up in there that might be holding it up.
The cliff, the drift, and lower roots get darker.

So the right voted this (fill in the blank) in. They basically just want somebody to shake things up? Have I got that right? They don’t care about criminal records, bankruptcies, morals, truth/lies, goals, past performance.

Ok, so what’s the plan when they’ve had enough up-shaking?

Oh will you just look at this mess!! I must tidy that up immediately!
