I have a hard time shutting up about video game history, preservation, and whatever I’m playing now.

And also Godzilla.
Thanks man! Everyone else was giving their Bluesky handles and I just thought "Ah man. I really want to keep up with everyone. I guess I should go back."

I mentioned in this recording that I did not have any social media to be followed on. After listening to the episode now that it is released, I wanted to connect with all of the other awesome people Josh talked to (already followed most of them), so I just reactivated my account!

When I read this, the words in my mind sound like someone slipping on a water spot twice but they kept talking.

Are you a fan of the crossovers and SEGA's roster of characters? It's a no-brainer.

Are you looking for something more Mario Kart 8 adjacent and not a big fan of shaking things up? Crossworlds might give you that.

Want something different, but familiar? Mario Kart World does that better.

Will I play a lot of Crossworlds? Very likely. Based on this test, it's a lot of fun.

Will it REPLACE Mario Kart World for me? No. They do enough different to justify their own existence.

Should someone buy one versus the other? Entirely depends what you want from a game.

I agree with 2005 Josh. FF8 needed a Sean. That's what was missing.

You only think about them when you're hungry on a long road trip and even then it's not your first choice.

Fight, Magic, Items ranks close though.

Took acid and read a book about the SNES.

In hindsight, I'm not even sure it was a book? But I had fun.

For legal reasons: this is a joke.

I have a Windows XP PC set up for gaming (and nostalgic fun)! Can you help me with that too?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but don't let your gaming hobby be held hostage by the "Name three songs!" kind of gatekeeping you see online asking you to prove your fan cred. You can love something without making it a full time job. Everyone plays differently.
