Nice to see this FUD debunked. A Steam console would be interesting but as I said yesterday the margins on hardware are so thin that I cant see it makes business sense. Steamdeck works because you can sell it to PC gamers. It is not trying to replace their current rigs!
Thank you... we've done pre-release Mesa Vulkan work on every AMD architecture since Vega thanks to them kindly providing hardware, so there's nothing meaningful to read into there.

As much fun as this would be im not sure I see the sense in Valve getting involved in the traditional PC hardware space. Margins must be razor thin. Steamdeck works cause it offers something different. Although Id love to see an easy to maintain, cost effective traditional form factor PC/Console
