When possible, I even ask our common customer a teamviewer to solve the issue by myself in 5min even tho I’m not supposed to but I just want the customer happy

It’s all about the service quality you want to provide and sometimes CS is just not part of it.

Yeah it really depends

However, sometimes I have to explain another CS team from another company we have to work with how to fix their issue and that really pisses me off because the customer comes back to us and we have to chase the other cs to do their work.

The hardest thing might be not to be a robot and actually try to understand the issue. Also being patient and doing efforts to follow up with the team you’re working with.
Sometimes talking to other companies support and I can say I’m proud of the work I’m doing seeing others not plugin their brain

I actually work in customer support and prefer email over everything. It’s easier to clearly explain to someone who is no expert and get you more time to think.
I feel good doing my best meeting expectations and being as quick and clear as possible, wish every service could do as good as I do it lol

I mean when you have 1gbps internet, it’s an easy choice - unless your progress is not saved on the cloud ofc then I get it.
