Not here for the ‘likes’ and certainly not here for Brexiters, Reform nutters or the terminally hard of thinking Trumpers. Tories can do one ‘n’ all.
It’s ‘cunt-ry’ garb. Elites from the city like to go hunting in the countryside and they all wear this uniform so they can identify each other among the people who really live and work there. It’s the uniform of the wealthy, land-owners. Farage is a man of the ppl if the ppl are oligarchs.

Not sure when Starmer backed Johnson. Was it when the latter illegally prorogued Parliament? My issue is with the assertion that Starmer is the worse OM in the OP’s lifetime. Really? The worst? NO ONE was worse in her lifetime? She must only be 5 years old, in that case.

Except the people DO have representation in the current sitting councillors. This isn’t the Thirteen Colonies in 1776. 🇺🇸🚫

Here it comes. Too good to be true that Houchen would actually do something that benefited the people of Teesside even if it didn’t necessarily benefit himself. The people of Teesside need to vote out the lying charlatan, poster boy of Boris Johnson once and for all.

The game hasn’t had integrity since Russia and Qatar bought it, don’t kid yourself this is a new thing.

She’s toxic. The Greens would do well not to let her anywhere near them.

Not only a different country, also a different form of Protestantism. Americans cut off the CofE when they rebelled against King George III, who was both head of state and head of the Church of England.

Absolutely. The BBC will follow the prevailing wind, which now seems to favour closer EU relations. Ironically, it’ll be him on the outside looking in.

And a minority

Oh, I hope it does.

To be fair, Nigel Farage has had free lunches all his life. 🙄

Blatter, Infantino, FIFA bosses are all as corrupt as each other. Did anyone really expect the organisation to take the moral high ground with another one of their kind?

I’d love to know what the ‘good reasons’ are for being so timid about this issue. I also wonder why Wes Streeting isn’t bringing this up at every cabinet meeting. Oh, wait, it was Wes Streeting who threw our trans brothers and sisters under the bus.

Perhaps the BBC should invite him to speak but not offer payment. See how principled the man is then.

Someone remind me how Reform (now filling up with Tories who lost their seats at the last election) is radically different from the Conservative Party 2019–2024?
December 2, 2025 at 6:42 PM
Exactly. Whose kids are more likely to be in the armed forces, those of liberals or those of conservatives?

Warms the cockles, doesn’t it?

The spectacle that is Chris Philp MP proves Bush’s point perfectly. The man has no intellect (just animal cunning), no morals, and a total inability to read the room. Needless to say, he’s a Tory.

It would be such sweet justice if the architect of Reform Ltd’s demise was Fartage himself.

If only experts in economics had warned Brexiteers about it... oh wait, Michael Gove. Where is that little weasel these days, anyway?

I wonder if he worries that immigrants might change the politics of the country they migrate to. I also wonder if he is capable of seeing the irony.
