It did get too serious, Id argue even more it got too caught up with its own lore.
Infinite was fine artstyle wise but Halo's lore has been too book cofused as of late which kinda sucks.

Had a moment earlier the game actually spawned 8 Chaos Spawn in like 3 different teleports and I got fucking brutalized lol
I can read like 2, MAYBE 3 of them, but they all aggro'd on me and I basicallt went from full health and armor to down in 10 seconds

AR being 32 rounds and not a 60rnd bullethose immediately turned me off.

Reach was just a grittier art style which was suited to the game itself, Reach would feel a bit off with the same artstyle as 3 Id even argue.

Ive been playing it in the beta for the past week and the release. Its pretty fun!
Its not the most in depth mode, and its mostly just more missions to beat where they unlock stuff for your army. Can be very difficult at times where you dont have certain units for a job.

this news honestly doesnt surprise me in the slightest. it makes total sense that big corpo would look at Infinite's troubled dev cycle and think "ai would fix this."
