Has anyone read C. Doctorow fiction and thought: “wow, these characters have real depth.” Or even: “wow, these characters are quite likable and not at all the wet dream liberal caricature of a closeted conservative mind!”

Folks who think Trump’s ego-damage will lead to something like disbanding DOGE give too much agency to his decision-making authority in this regime.
