Years ago, a cockney colleague of mine in BA greeted a very posh couple and their late-teens daughter at the First Class check-in desk by bellowing "Oi! Oi! A Gentleman and two ladies, off for the weekend? Someone's in for a good time!" Their faces ... I'm still laughing at it 25 years later 😂

Crimplene! I can't believe that clothes were actually made from that stuff - I had a crimplene skirt when I was six and got friction burns when I rubbed my wrist on it. It was probably a fire hazard too 😂

He designed the British Airways uniform when I was working for them back in the 90s, the uniform was great but I hated the hat! Happy days. RIP Mr Costelloe.
