I genuinely want to understand how anyone still sees this turning out ok? One person responded “well, if Congress actually starts making laws again”, but going off the belief people have shown us who they are on both sides the aisle, I don’t understand how this turns out alright for anyone

1) A significant portion of NIH funding goes (went?) to academic medical centers for research. Freezing or denying that funding has one set of disastrous impacts on jobs, on US’ ability to treat and cure devastating illnesses etc.

What IS the option when POTUS operates above the law, ultimately defies the Supreme Court on multiple fronts (it’s coming), and is surrounded by so many sycophants that no one in the executive or legislative branch will make decisions to create accountability? What tools do the people have left?
