HALF of the kids seen at our children’s hospital in West MI are Medicaid patients. Kids with cancer, heart conditions, genetic diseases. They can’t wait to get care. This is despicable.

“My way” is that undocumented immigrants who commit violent crimes should be removed. I don’t think the vast majority of brown people commit violent crimes, as you seem to imply here in contradiction of your earlier statement.

I disagree. It would behoove ICE to devote its resources to flagging and deporting the - again - small number of undocumented violent criminals. Shifting their focus to immigrants who commit petty crimes stops them from doing this and is a waste of resources.

But it does, so that’s wholly unproductive to the points I’m making…

I realize that and don’t subscribe to the right-wing propaganda. However, ICE now has no ability to prioritize the small number of them who do violently offend.

First you vote to give Trump the authority to gut nonprofits, now you vote to shift ICE resources to pursuing immigrants who commit low-level crimes instead of violent offenders. You don’t care about our country or communities; you only care about your re-election bids. You are a disgrace.

There’s no new funding in the bill, so by default, they have to now shift their resources and focus from pursuing violent criminals to detaining any undocumented immigrant who commits a low-level crime. That actually *harms* their objective of reducing violent crime among undocumented immigrants…
