But I also see that Kirk leads the charge by saying that gun violence was an unfortunate price to pay for the second amendment and Empathy is made up and fake.

I wish there was something we could do to stop guns getting in the wrong hands. I wish there were tests to prove you have the mental ability to maintain a gun, and keep it safe and test the mental stability of the owner.
