It might be a heart, but the image didn't translate well to the weird spherical low-res triangle/hexagon display it has to show up on. Or, if it was rotating around the dome, sometimes shapes get distorted a bit as they rotate across the weird hexagonal pixels.

That miiight be the logo of one of the sponsor organizations, but I don't think so. Now I want to find out what the vision was for whatever the blob shape is!

Not exactly sure what that pattern is, but the colours are for the "Girls in STEAM Summit" today. Big special thing for students to meet and talk with women in high level science/tech careers.

First off, Rebecca, I'm sorry. It's funny, sure, but it must also be weird and scary. Second, on the record - I have had the misfortune of meeting Krauss a few times in the context of organizing science talk events. Based on these meetings, I am inclined to believe everything I've heard about him!!

We can say "oh what a buffoon to have fallen for so inartful a jape as this!" but it's fucking pointless to do so. Trump used the "satire" and won that exchange. The Dunning Kruger Times has so entirely failed to understand how debunking and misinfo work, it would be ironic if it weren't so sad.
