Hopeless IT nerd, rugby tragic, music aficionado, provocateur and general all-round human.
My boys both use it, so I have one here. Have been using it to get used to deadlifting again. Once I get to two plates I'll drop weight and move to it.

Some great numbers there mate.
Thats not a trap bar deadlift?
Are you using olympic spec weights, or jsut dealing with the offset.
Gets much heavier on the DL you may need to invest in a platform.

Would it make sense to adopt a BTC sales approach, where you go to a service desk to purchase a knife? Similar to camping stores.

Very nice!
Staggered tiles. Wish I did that :(
Nice rack with two safety rails? Extra safe.
Cleaned up nicely with the dumbbell tree.
Gonna get swole in that bro!

Sorry to hear that. Only a few more days and you’ll be back to leftovers and cricket on the TV

When you eventually cover the garage that is :)

Looks good. Think about staggered intervals, I.e 1/2 mtr then 1 mtr square. One thing I regret about my layout
December 24, 2024 at 8:10 AM
That does help, but I’ll admit it’s rarely got to that point for me. What did you sort out for floor mats?
December 24, 2024 at 8:06 AM
Yeh nice mate that looks awesome. You’re gonna love that.
December 24, 2024 at 7:56 AM
15mm is best. I use that on my floor.
I'd show you a photo, but the gym is a mess right now.
December 20, 2024 at 4:16 AM
Make sure they are nice and thick. You might be better off souring some used gym mates through FB marketplace. Just a lot more durable.

They have an awesome bench unit with leg extension/curl attachment. Very nice for a home gym.

I'm keen on an ADX system - any of these from Sam's fitness (only Sydney) look top quality, without breaking budgets on an Rogue or AlphaFit. samsfitness.com.au/equipment/po...

Yeh thats nice looking. Love the big red safetys, especially for us old fellas :) Are you bolting down or jsut using excess weights to hold it down?
December 20, 2024 at 12:33 AM
Cars done belong in carports. Home gyms do. I've crammed workshop at one end but fit a full cage, lifting platform, treadmill and tons of Rugby gear (including a tackle mat).

What's the rack kit you went with?
December 18, 2024 at 10:41 PM
Clear everything out for the massive rack and lifting platform.

It’s much friendlier than the other place…

Are you sure Eddie hasn't taken a call yet?
December 4, 2024 at 10:50 PM
Yeh I get that. Just finished my SAFe cert upgrades today. Good Cole for items, but yea common skills everyone knows in IT delivery. If I was recruiting I’d be looking at core, soft, and tech skills in balance. Badges on their own mean SFA to me.

What certification do you need for the role? Experience? Skills?
November 26, 2024 at 7:22 AM
What is the role, and why don't you think you will get a call?
November 26, 2024 at 7:01 AM
Yeh that could be it. Makes sense. I just had my "keep rugby clean" reminders float to my inbox, so certs are front of mind.

Yea? I thought you needed Level 2 to coach Colts and above. It's the case down here in Mexico, so I thought it was uniform nationally.
