Glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this phenomenon. They have apparently cranked up the "suggested posts" knob in the past few weeks and it's obnoxious.
I decided to categorise the types of posts I was seeing in my Facebook feed this morning, and the numbers are kind of wild.. for a sample of 20 posts, I saw:
* 1 post from a friend
* 1 post from a group I follow
* 14 suggested posts from things I'm only marginally interested in
* 4 sponsored posts
* 1 post from a friend
* 1 post from a group I follow
* 14 suggested posts from things I'm only marginally interested in
* 4 sponsored posts

Glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing this phenomenon. They have apparently cranked up the "suggested posts" knob in the past few weeks and it's obnoxious.
