That time period was pretty peak for Aussie alt rock, and not just cause I’m nostalgic for when I was a teenager saving up all month to buy a cd from HMV or Sanity.

Not to mention Silverchair, Nick Cave (although that could include a list that spans the 80’s to now), INXS, Powderfinger, and many other great Aussie bands that never quite cracked the US market. In fact, I’m going to make my own playlist after this!
