fear blocks the mind. it kills creativity, learning, growth. i always did my best to build a stress-free space for my students…full of safety, warmth, love. now it feels like all that work meant nothing. like it’s all slipping away.

going back to class feels so heavy. smiling, pretending i’m okay, acting like i’m not anxious or exhausted… it’s all too much. i don’t feel healthy, mentally or physically. but i’ll keep trying, because young people deserve that. and i really do love them.

Maybe we’re not always out on the streets, we’re not chanting slogans every day. But we are here. We are part of a quiet, deep, and enduring resistance.
