the argument was that there's nothing to analyze in canon ships unlike vaguely implied ships. which is stupid and reminded me of the "when a piece of media is really good there's nothing to talk about but when it's mid there are actually things to discuss" post

not exactly the thing you're talking about but i saw a tweet recently that was like "ships that are only vaguely implied are always better than canon ships" and it pissed me off so bad

It's 2025 and things suck so if you like me commenting on things maybe give a look at my GFMs while you're at it.

one of the characters in the ship also has a canon female love interest and my favorite yuri ship with her got hit with the curse of "more than a half of fics in their ship tag is them being a background prop for this mid yaoi ship". this is the start of my villain arc

recently got back into a fandom that's basically held up by two most popular yaoi ships and i fucking hate the second one

this immediately got liked by someone who i don't know and doesn't seem to know you. incredible

riighhht i am kinda anxious about it on twt too so i censor some words when it comes to big fandoms bc i want to keep my tweets in the circle of my mutuals lol. but on here after the situation with the bot i'm like?? do i have to censor anything even slightly fandom related here

like idk. again i understand the reason but if you read a manga where the villain uses torment nexus and your first reaction is "if it was the main character who used torment nexus and if he was doing it in a morally correct way it would've been fixed"

so the main themes of it are 1) the villain might consider it a fixed timeline but a lot of the main characters will either die or lose people close to them in it 2) therefore going back in time and making a timeline where everyone is happy is impossible

i understand the reason but a core plot point in the manga is that one of the villains tried to time travel and fix the timeline
