Problem is windows 11 ui. Go back to control center and its 100% easier to find settings. Its even worse that w11 localisation is straight up wrong or nonsensical. ANYTHING pre windows 8 worke great.

Well thats the good part of mint. Its really easy to just pick it up and use. I am using w11 on my main laptop (thanks adobe and autodesk) but debian one my backup. I was actually shocked to see an option to pick between nvidia drivers in a menu. It feels like a great way to get away from windows

If you are looking for purea lightweight os go for Debian 12 with XFCE as desktop enviroment. If not mint is great, definetly give it a try

On my windows 11 laptop I almost could not submit my coursework because it decided that I need to login with my MICROSOFT ACCOUNT instead of my local windows username / password, on the day when college wifi was out. Thanks microsoft, seriously?!?!?!?

I actually had to use this laptop when my current (i7 10750h) laptop was getting repaired. While pure windows 7 (safe boot) was more performative, I was able to get work done.

You should see how windows 11 runs after a week. It has a personality disorder. Sometimes it will 100% your cpu and sometimes it willf give you 30fps more

Used every controller from ps1 to ps5 and xbox controllers. Absolutely love the way L/R 2’s can become triggers even though R1 is still hit for me, these controllers suck as a “controller” cant go more than few days while my ps3 could go a month.
