also kind of realising my instinctual feelings about something as woman of colour were shouted down doesn’t mean i was wrong and it’s making me reevaluate every way i feel about representations of women and sexuality in modern media

Here’s the deal: most of the lighting in my art makes 𝘯𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦. I just make it up as I go along. That’s why I need to do some good lighting studies every now and then - I can’t get away with this forever 😅 Which one do you like the most?

i remember in 2014 my friend florence posted her art progress through the years on youtube and when she started doing digital photorealism she got massively bashed for like tracing or faking her progress and i always aspired to cause that level of controversy
