I've been at earler Blowzabella gigs, and they are awesome! One of my favourite of Andy Cutting's groups. I picked up our tix months ago, and some balfolk friends are even coming over from France to join us. Snap up tix while they last!

Doors open at 19:30, tickets on the door for as long as we have them. Dancing is 20:00-23:00.

Slightly disappointed we didn’t get the invitation to the lesbian ceilidh in Oban. We are also nowhere near Oban.

The dance they’re doing is Circassian Circle, which is a really well known dance amongst folk dancers, esp in France. I’d be surprised if it were called in this particular instance. For more complex dances like Stoke Golding Country Dance Dave Shepherd or Jo Freya tend to call the moves.
