Today is World Humanitarian Day.

We celebrate and honour those who continue to provide humanitarian assistance to people who need it most.

Last year, 377 humanitarian workers were killed in conflict situations across 20 countries. That is a record high.

Disease is ripping through Gaza as Israel continues to deliberately block aid.

There must be an immediate and permanent ceasefire. All required aid must be able to enter via all crossings into Gaza.

We believe doing business includes services as well as goods.
We hope the Occupied Territories Bill would be as comprehensive as it needs to be to achieve its aims.

We welcome today's progress on the Bill as a move forward that we must build upon both in Ireland and internationally.
