Moon was up last night, conveniently, while I awaited the ferry :)
A few branches of a large Norfolk Pine on the right, frame the almost full moon, tiny, like a Christmas bauble, hanging from the lowest branch. The clear blue sky, pre dusk, makes a vivid contrast with the sunlight pine needles. Looking up to the crispy, brown grass covered hill, the moon peaks between the branches of two spindly Norfolk Pines. A third, similarly spindly completes the set of trees. Three and the almost full moon, with a dusky blue sky. The starkness of a dry grass hill, no trees but in the far left bottom of the pic, sits an orange rectangular utility box which supports a white pole which has what could be a small solar collector. On the right hand side at the 2/3rds place up the hill is the near full moon, clear as a light in the pinky blue dusky sky. Right hand side is the one spinky norfolk pine with two shadows on the hill. The almost full moon sits close to the top of the browning grass but the vegetation echoes the shape of the moon.
