I don't get why this is spread/liked so much. It's such a complete oversimplification of the time period it's embarrassing. I completely agree with the spirit of this post but all you do is antagonize and look stupid. Get out of here

that's fine, we don't have to agree. The bottom line is that we've been treated to some great movies this year, whether Dune deserves to make that list or not

For real, we've had some amazing movies this year. Dune 2, Anora, Strange Darling, I Saw the TV Glow, The Wild Robot, Hit Man, Longlegs, Fall Guy and some more I'm forgetting right now. When I see posts like these I'm never sure if they choose not to look because it would mess with their worldview
