That is helpful to kind of deshittify windows, thank you for that info I still run windows on a couple machines (mostly for gaming or incompatible old apps). But honestly even with a simple mint install I can do most things with next to no tweaks involved. I mean no judgement on anything youre doing

I mean its more of deshittifying it. Having to go through registry edits and third party apps to remove OS level ads, and make their search function usable again is not what i would call personalization.

I just never even signed up for threads. Never saw a reason to. The only social media i use is this, facebook(for messenger) and Discord. And i am okay with that
