Using the time for a vet visit to see what's going on with Marie's ear. And being out and about, I realise that I really am still feeling quite crappy and did the right thing, calling in sick. Wish us luck for Marie, please. She's so sweet and patient...

Update on my pets: there are now 3 cats - Susie, Marie and Romy - still 2 snakes - Andromeda and Cassiopeia - and along with Eldfari, I'm also working with his buddy Nemo

I have a vet check-up with Susie on Thursday, and since Marie's ear isn't getting any better (even looks a bit worse today, unfortunately), I'll take her along. Vet said I can pick up a cone tomorrow and bring her sooner if it's getting much worse.

Added the final new pics of Nemo and Romy to the family collection, right above the bed...and hung up the gorgeous print of the Doors of Durin! Sweaty and exhausted now, though. Time for some hot soup.

This really is Eldfari's kind of weather! He started tölting as soon as I walked faster. On the asphalt it's easy to hear that this is not a trot - it's a tölt, which is why his head is raised like this. Gaited horses rock.

Yesterday with the horses. My sweet Icelandic boy came withme for a walk. Isn't he the cutest? Nemo looked golden in the setting sun! Gorgeous!
