The lesson of Mandalorian season 1 should have been all Star Wars things should be a rip-off of an existing classic pulp genre but in Star Wars. Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly in space. Hunt for Red October but in space. Sound of Music but in space? Sure, why not.

How do you even get to 5 dollars an hour? $40k machine running for 10 years 24/7 with less than 40k dollars intervention and maintenance over that entire time? 5000 dollars of electricity are used, assuming the unit is 500W over the 10 years.

I think post apocalypse fiction underestimates how easy it would be to make those things or stand systems back up. We rely on our current system to make things cheap. Lots of people know how to make things themselves, and in absence of supply chains they could.

Why would stable prices drive sales? If they were going up it could be an investment. If they were going down it could be an affordable home. Stable seems the least appealing.

If he was on extended leave, then he was already in involuntary treatment. There's no such thing as extended leave for volluntary treatment in BC.

I feel like if there was actually hidden intention, they would have made some effort. One evening, I tried to calculate the percentage of the Canadian gdp that was scams, and in doing that, I put in more effort than these tarrif calculations.
