I ran out of #audible credits on Saturday and to tide me over until my new credit arrives tomorrow I saw this was free and gave it a go.
Surprisingly fascinating showing how human culture evolved alongside the importance of sheep and wool

@gregjenner.bsky.social Just a thought but would you ever consider a ‘you’re dead to me’ on the wonderful Ignaz Semmelweis & his antiseptic procedures. It’s a good story especially his demise.
Could even be done with the likes of Joseph Lister and Pasteur.
Just a little suggestion from a big fan ☺️

I’ve moved onto Star Trek: First Contact now. Arguably much better than Generations.
James Cromwell and Alfre Woodard are great In it. #startrek
Possibly Patrick Stewart’s greatest Star Trek film

Saw The #Zutons supporting Paul Heaton last night at the arena and they were brilliant. Need to listen to more of them again.

This is the story of the gloriously tasty (but not at all neat) sausage pie I made for tea because the pasty was going out of date.
Also I cooked way too many peas

Couldn’t find the cat anywhere on Monday and he’s a house cat so definitely wasn’t outside. After frantic searching and a panicked 9 year old we discovered him in this box on top of the wardrobe. Seems to be his new favourite place away from the Christmas decorations

Came up on my Timehop that I was visiting Chatsworth one year ago today and I still can’t get over the expression this lion statue there had 🤣🤣🤣
