I also reduced the image sizes on the Owlstown home page. I measured the site’s performance on pagespeed.web.dev and got a 93. Woohoo!

4) Improved editing interface
The Owlstown editor has an improved interface for editing a page.

- Edit a block by just clicking on it, instead of clicking on an edit button.
- New location for move up and down buttons.
- Delete button is inside the block editor to reduce accidental clicks.

Here's a video of the old way that editing works. Notice the number of clicks just to edit a block.

✨ Text-only versions of Owlstown websites are now available! Just go to an Owlstown website, hover over the Tools button in the bottom right corner, and click “Text Only”

Here's the current progress on building text-only versions of Owlstown websites.

Visitors will be able to switch to the text-only version via a button on the original website or a URL change.

To add Bluesky to your Sharer widget, go to the Sharer section in the Owlstown Editor. Add Bluesky to the list of Sharer options.

You can now add Bluesky to the Sharer widget of your Owlstown website.

✨ NEW FEATURE ✨

Owlstown now has inline editing. This feature will make it even easier to update your academic website.

Edit directly on the webpage instead of editing on the sidebar. Your changes are also saved automatically.
