I was doubtful about being able to do the tree this year. I did the bottom half sitting on a stool. Started getting dizzy, while standing, to do the top half. Needs some tweaking, but I managed. Behold the bastard staircase banister where I hit my head back in February. 👀🤕😵💫🎄 Little victories.

This photo is constantly popping up in my photo of the day on my iPad. It’s taunting me. Like it’s a prophecy of winter 2026.This was from Snowmageddon in 2015. The worst winter of my life. I didn’t have a work laptop yet. I thought the commute would kill me. 110 inches of snow in Boston that year.🥶

Portsmouth, NH today: The monument for the “Negro Burying Ground” from colonial times. By 1813, houses were built over this resting place. I love that people leave flowers here to honor those buried here.

Leftovers for lunch today. Unbelievable Detroit-style pepperoni pizza😋 from Blue Square Pizza in Hopkinton, MA. It’s an hour drive, but we live in a good pizza desert, so it’s this place or Monte’s in Portland, ME. Probably a good thing that we can’t get delivery from either place.🤤

The positional vertigo, when I lay down at night, is back.😵💫The therapist tested my eyes again and he could see a lot of movement in the left one. Epley maneuver time!🤞Hopeful.

Only took 40 minutes for our deck cam to register these that these two “persons” were on the deck. Glad they weren’t burglars.🤦♀️🦃🦃

We have visitors! A couple of wild turkeys have been on our deck for 1/2 an hour now. I think they are both female. They arrived just when we got groceries delivered. Maybe they know we just got some fresh snacks? We don’t see turkeys on the property that often. 🥰🦃 #WildTurkeys

For flavored coffee, I like nearly everything from New England Coffee, which is here in Massachusetts. If I want something more robust, Rock City Coffee in Maine has Owls Head Blend (pretty sure the owls roast this themselves 😉).🦉☕️
