#Autodesk still has a strong hand in the video-game content creation market, although the modern autodesk would i think be confused by this oddball usage (and "abuse")…

The closest to that in the states is to have a Raspberry Pi 400 or lower running RISC-OS (The OS of the Archimedes). Funny thing is that RISC-OS is still developed to this day by the @riscosopen.bsky.social project, and as of now the greatest development priority is getting it to be fully 64-bit.

There's two major versions of SunOS, one BSD-based & one SysV-based (which did support 64-bit hardware).
Funny thing is, there is a community supported variant under the name of #illumos.
