The Sound of Animals Fighting is the only band whose merch has ever been recognized on me. Funnily enough the person who saw the shirt and started the conversation started talking about band members and I had to pretend I knew what and who they were talking about.

Minus the Bear is by far my favorite band. Highly Refined Pirates into Menos el Oso into Planet of Ice shaped my music habits for the 00s.

You can also see that in any given season the average rank of the top seeds of are pretty separated. They is normally jockeying between teams and the person next to them in the standings, but the only big movement is between the lower seeds.

New Year’s Eve 2005 I was watching some comedy central end of year show and they had Death Cab for Cutie play live. I had gotten an ITunes gift card for Christmas, as soon as the performance was over I used it to buy Plans (the rest of the gift card went to buying Demon Days)

I probably listened to every episode of Trance Around the World with Above and Beyond between ‘06 and ‘11. I bought sirens of the seas as soon as I could when it came out. This album was such a big part of my teens.

This was a surprise entry at the very end of the year. Incredibly well done historical fiction with a story that was both captivating and enjoyable. The interactions between Zhao BuYou, Wen Yue, and Gu Zhen are a constant delight

It's everything I want out of a spy show; The plots are small, self contained and in the realm of realism. None of the seasons feel like they drag on nor do they feel rushed. There is enough comedy to cut through the seriousness but not so much that it detracts from the tone of the show
