Voting in the 2024 general election was statistically, a binary choice. More than 98% of the votes were cast between 2 candidates. A 3rd party candidate who shows up once every 4 years not be heard of between elections cycles, is not a serious candidate.

The general election is a binary choice. I knew Trump would impact countless friends and family members. For me, this was more important than the moral grandstanding so many have the privilege of espousing, like yourself. To walk away and claim apathy as a virtue wasn’t part of my strategy.

Although I support both trans rights and justice for Gazans, the progressives who stayed home over whatever their line in the sand was, didn't make a statement, they made a choice. The people who showed up got their way, and now we're all worse off for it.

Once again, the Democrats are using the WRONG strategy. What's new? They SHOULD BE SAYING "we'll sign the CR if and only if medicare, medicaid, and the health exchanges are NOT defunded." Put MAGA on defense.

Right, and like Democrats always do, they're playing defense which, to the ignorant, makes them look as if they're hiding something. Here's an idea... Democrats should say, "We will sign the CR IF MEDICARE/MEDICAID and HEALTH EXCHANGES are not touched.
