Submitted my thesis corrections last week, which also gave me the opportunity to add this beautiful woodcut print of my study species to the front page, hand carved by my talented friend and flatmate Meirian ⭐

I'm eleven days late posting this, but thesis successfully submitted on 8th February 2025 🥳

For my first post I thought I'd share this video of two hardworking Polistes lanio foragers returning to their nest with food (probably caterpillar) - they will then share it around, process it using their mouthparts, and feed it to the hungry larvae 💚
