Katie Wilson’s Transit Riders Union has been involved in setting up illegal drug encampments going back several years now. There is absolutely no chance we’re going to see a decrease in crimes associated with drug camps, and quite likely we’re going to see drug related crime explode. If the encampments grow, homicides are gonna go up along with them. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Wilson’s pro encampment policy is going to be permissive enough to reverse the recent decrease in homicides. On the positive side, the drug hobos mostly just murder one another, so average citizens can ignore it for the most part.

I’m scared topic: crime I moved here a couple of days ago from a small east coast city to cure my depression (I’m serious) and now there’s a progressive socialist mayor elect that’s got me really worried. Is the crime rate going to go up??? I live in downtown 🤦‍♂️

The same could be said about her unlikely run for mayor. A policy-minded advocate for left-wing causes who for years trafficked in the sausage-making of local government, she shrugged off the notion that she might be better suited for a seat on the City Council one day, instead aiming for the more managerial and tone-setting office on City Hall’s top floor.

Spreading awareness with visual evidence!

Atrociously dangerous driving is ubiquitous. If you're looking for it, flex posts make this clear. But that never ends up on social. So most people focus on stuff like left lane camping.

Why is Alaskan Way traffic so horrible all the time? Why is Alaskan Way traffic so horrible all the time? Since the waterfront development project has been completed it just seems like it’s a complete shit show down there all day long every day and that the lights just aren’t synced properly. Gridlock You can only go like one light at a time and then you get red. Why can’t the traffic lights all be functioning more together? It takes forever to get from around the ferry terminal to past the market. It just seems like the traffic lights are all messed up. edit: I’m wondering if it could be helped by getting the lights to be properly synchronized
