Interesting! Point me to the repositories and we could expand analysis! Every exercise like ours has limitations for sure; we did not look at finance journals. Previous work found EViews, RATS, and SPSS to be on par with one another in Finance: see Fig 13.3 here www.stata-press.com/books/tywsar...
