🙂 We mentioned some of those in our Table 1 (we didn't want to pick favorites between FORTRAN for the IBM 704 in 1957, FORTRAN 66, FORTRAN 77, etc, so FORTRAN isn't in the table, but still) :

Interesting! Point me to the repositories and we could expand analysis! Every exercise like ours has limitations for sure; we did not look at finance journals. Previous work found EViews, RATS, and SPSS to be on par with one another in Finance: see Fig 13.3 here www.stata-press.com/books/tywsar...
