You're on the right side Robin.
If there is anyone who personifies the sentiment that's expressed in St Francis' Prayer*, it's you.

Probably wasn't widespread, but certainly it seems that it was a term that was used in reference to gays.
OED has a citation from 1894 written by the Marquess of Queensberry

Apparently, despite the common belief, although Hugo Boss made the uniforms, they didn't design them.
The design was by SS-Gruppenführer Karl Diebitsch, an artist, and graphic designer Walter Heck

It can be a problem if it spreads into pasture grasslands though.

Boringly, it is possible that some big brand tampons will have involved animal testing - which would make them ineligible for having a vegan status.
Other brands will not have been tested on animals.

I don't think Oliver would have been great -

The top of the rainbow arc (the red coloured bow) is always 42.5⁰ minus the altitude of the Sun in the sky - so, when you took the photo the Sun would have been about 40⁰ above the horizon.

I remember a review on one of the Podcast sites: "I'd listened to several which were in my areas of interest, so wondered how the it would be with something I was not interested in - so I found one on Mediaeval Enclosures that sounded completely boring - it was fascinating"

Well, maybe I just made that one up, but we have it as a phrase now.

The lakeside cafe in Roath Park called the Terra Nova because that was the name of Scott's ship, which was coaled in Cardiff Dock before heading off (albeit to London to pick up the expedition members).

A Wales Online article from 2014 suggested that it was from 1930
Google Lens found a thumbnail of the article, but without the full text.
Cardiff would very likely have been a coaling port for many of the RN ships due to the quality of Welsh Steam Coal

If that was about 22° either side of the Sun, it could be a parhelion (Sundog). I've only seen people mention nacreous clouds in association with Noctilucent Clouds, which are (as others have mentioned) the highest atmospheric clouds and seen generally in the low summer North, well after Sunset

Would it be a 'Godwin' to suggest he would likely have admired Speer's preference for 'familiar and traditional designs'?
