i do not know anything about the politics of the creators but they made a massive leap forward by making a lot of things easy, or work for us. feeds allow anyone to make an fyp, and pds makes the system flexible and readymade for more socials. they still have things which give them a lot of control.

while true pds is a good leap forward, it isn’t as decentralized as i hear you saying. bluesky still does moderation and other important things which can affect reach, the nice part is if you don’t like the choices of 🦋then you still own your data and can leave that site for another with followers.

i used to be able to sign in a few months ago but it broke around august or september. it may be skylight.expo because no other popup goes blank like that. i have the option to exit the popup and open in a browser, but that only says I am authenticated. I originally ran into this using bluesky pds.

I might be seeing a different issue, when I try to login, the auth page which pops up is a solid color with no login. this is for both bluesky pds and my local pds.
