I don't think it can be rationalised but hatred of what is different seems common among Reform fans. Farage has always fomented this and now has a much bigger platform to do it on.

Alec Stewart was the one I first felt a connection to, then a series of nuggety batters up to Thorpe. Warne is the player I remember most though.

Ambrose and Walsh for me. Walsh more metronomic but still brilliant, Ambrose had a mean streak in him that all the best fast bowlers have. I loved watching Curtley bowl.
