Coming from a background where we had to make do with whatever free solutions were available, we want to build a comprehensive solution for both offline and remote production teams, as well as single broadcasters.

We’re currently still fine-tuning the pricing details, but we are committed to a fair approach that makes the tool accessible for everyone while also covering our costs and supporting continued development.

Being transparent is crucial for us, so we want to be upfront about our future plans: as we near a full release of OVRLYD (not OVRLYD Mini), we intend to offer OVRLYD as a subscription-based service, complete with a free tier that’s fully functional for basic broadcasting.

Choose from a variety of draft overlays, kick off the draft yourself, or let it start automatically as the game begins. Extract player names directly from League of Legends or overwrite them with your stored opponent player names and additional data...

And so, a few months later, we’re proud and excited to unveil OVRLYD Mini.

OVRLYD Mini is primarily designed as a League of Legends draft-tool while integrating selected features from our future modules like OVRLYD Studio and OVRLYD Assets.

Our progress was previously held back by the time constraints of our commitments to Solaris E-Sports. Now that Solaris is behind us, we finally have the opportunity to dedicate ourselves fully to make OVRLYD a tool for everyone.

So, after a bit of consideration, we set out to transform OVRLYD from an in-house temporary solution into a product built for everyone. Available soon with League of Legends, later CS2, and potentially expanding to other games.

While we fine-tuned OVRLYD for our in-house broadcasts, a question kept coming into our minds:

"If we already benefit from OVRLYD in its current unfinished state, isn’t the next logical step to make it even better—and available to everyone else?"

With features like team and asset management, static content hosting, and an “OVRLYD Bridge” that fetched in-game data from League of Legends for custom overlays like draft layouts, OVRLYD already had a solid foundation.

OVRLYD has been originally born as a handy tool to support our own broadcasts at Solaris E-Sports. It enabled us to quickly integrate dynamic content into our livestreams by tweaking pre-configured OBS browser sources directly from our web browser.
