Rather than escalating violence and destruction, risking regional escalation, the Trump Admin. should be putting pressure on Israel to uphold the ceasefire deal. This includes allowing humanitarian aid into Gaza and returning to the negotiating table for a permanent ceasefire.

100% this. NYT and other mainstream outlets fixate on MAT while underreporting on lack of access to affordable, quality addiction treatment in general. They want to rehash a "science vs. abstinence" debate instead of addressing the need for universal healthcare + accessible treatment options.
