Unfortunately it doesn’t look as though that’s what they’re going to do - I’ve looked at tickets (right when they went onsale) and nothing indicates that there are seats blocked for design. Just a regular ol’ show for sale.

I’m looking sideways at Cats. It looks as though they’re not doing anything to the house to make the production look like it did at PAC, and I can’t imagine how the traditional proscenium will be broken in the same way. It needs the runway and immersive feel.

The Second Avenue Subway project will connect East Harlem (and you know who lives there 😱) with the Upper East Side (=👱🏻♀️🤵🏻♂️🎩💵) and the rest of downtown, and we can’t possibly have any of THAT! Absolutely a DEI Subway!

it was ridiculous but thoroughly effective, we were all so skeeved out by it. Brilliant design choice.
So much of Vogel’s work is semi-autobiographical, and this is a big one. Again, glad you loved it. It was one of my favorites last season.

On B’way they used shadow projections of giant roaches scampering out of the trash, up his legs, along the wall with the tune “La Cucaracha” played on a piano like a lullaby. The audience screamed laughing

You won’t regret it! I hope your performance tonight was solid. I left the Broadway production crying, particularly when I realized mid-show how the two plays tie together.
