Photo taken 7th Feb, 2020. Close-up of a bumble bee drinking from a cream winter honeysuckle flower. I found the bee on cold ground & thought it was dead, but when warmed in my hands it moved. I took it home to see if it would drink honeysuckle nectar. It rested, had a drink, and then it flew away.

I’m having to wade through the river on my morning runs because they haven’t replaced the ‘unsafe’ bridge yet 🫤. After a period of heavy rains it will become too deep to cross safely 🥺.
