Many of our beauty standards come from Tuberculosis and being Consumptive Chic. Paleness, thinness, and a rosy glow was reserved for the rich who were slowly dying of TB. Marketing just took it and ran with it. Screw the oligarchs, enjoy your pie, and be active and healthy however that looks.💅🏼

A new study from a religious policy group is laying the groundwork to ban Mifepristone. Their goal is to make physicians responsible for adverse events so less providers prescribe it and/more making it cost prohibitive. You can read the full "study" here. eppc.org/publication/...

Reminder: Women weren’t even required to be included in clinical research until 1993 via the NIH Revitalization Act. Much of modern medicine was developed with research done exclusively on men with no indication the impact it could have on women. We need to keep pushing for better results.

My goal is to implement affordable public health and patient care models in the US using fewer tax payer dollars. I know that sounds insane, but it can be done. We've researched it, we're building it, and our clinical trial is kicking off soon. This isn't a pipe dream, this is reality.
