they couldn't predict Donald Trump, but humanity is a very easy species to figure out and guess what we'll do given enough time and resources. After all, it's just all the same stuff, different names, places, technology, whatever.

are simply stuck. So we don't do the science, or stay in the war torn country, or are a democrat in a maga town, fill in the blank. You do what you can, but it means loosing so much - personally or communally, doesn't matter, it's lost, and things don't get better - may only get worse.

People seem to forget whatever the situation (this conversation is about science; it can also be about staying in violent areas, or being a Dem in a red state, whatever), not everyone can flee. You can only do that if you have the resources, or you know someone that has them - the rest of us...

But they are smart enough to know once their creation is out there for us all to experience, we are going to take something else away from it - maybe they agree with it, maybe they don't, but our experience and interpretation is just as valid, even if it's not the original message.

Both are important & necessary & a piece of work is nothing without both. We don't always know the intent from some creators (will never be a Shakespeare director's cut DVD, obviously), but if you know it, it is very important b/c that's why they created it, that's the message they wanted out there.

because one day it will happen - if not from him, then his family/estate will release what he has with maybe the rest written by some other author. Just whenever that day will be, who knows? LOL

10000% collection - yes, there's a main narrative (Skywalkers and family/friends), but very much collection. If it were only one movie/trilogy like it was for most of the 80s/90s, I'd lean towards singular story (if these were my only choices), but still not 100%.

The one to come to mind quickly is Bane - we've only had those one or two fleeting hints or mentions of his name and that's it. Some more could be pretty nice... :)

it's been a long time now since I read it, but I just really can't remember... do remember quite a few of the other characters we see though!

hope you don't already know this, but if you like the books, you can get a hint with Lost to Eternity by Greg Cox; as someone that can get tired of the books at times, this one was nice & different - a podcaster is looking into the disappearance of one Dr Gillian Taylor. Definitely liked this one.

zero - no money for it, even if I were the type to try to handle to store traffic (but none for online shopping either)
