A fascinating podcast for lovers of rock and roll. It's a ten year project that started in 2018. I just found out about it recently so I'm slowly making my way through the earlier episodes.

Our military is being paid by an anonymous donor.

Our WH East Wing was demolished for a ballroom - paid for by donors.

These aren’t acts of benevolence or patriotism.

This is the oligarchy assuming control, insidiously becoming part of how we function.

Every American should reject it.

So disheartening that 43% of U.S. voters (including 9 out of 10 Republicans) still support this incompetent madman.
I'm not going to stop fighting, but I have zero confidence we'll reach the theoretical 3.5% of the population protesting nonviolently needed to cause a government to fall from power.

What's more important: our entertainment or our democracy?

Don't say "1 or 2 people canceling won't make a difference."

If you don't cancel for that reason it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. If 20% of their subscribers cancel, these companies will change.

I'm a big believer in non-partisan commissions to develop electoral maps, so I'm disappointed that we've arrived at this point. But I more strongly believe that in order to save democracy in the U.S., Democrats have to fight fire with fire.
