White men have always had their feet on our necks. We recently were able to speak out about sexual assault, as a group, through the #metoo movement. In consequence, we have a rapist as President and he’s putting all his rapey friends in positions of power. It’s a big f*ck you to all of us.

I remember my amazing, liberal mom hitting the pavement for Carter & wearing that gold peanut necklace. I remember being intrigued as a young girl at her dedication. She died 10/12 & the only positive is I am grateful she did not have to witness the destruction of our democracy. It's heartbreaking.
