Is this an example of inspiration for novels popping up everywhere? If we can answer how, there might be 80,000 words there...

It went live on Saturday. Don't know how I missed your comment for 4 days! As a bitesize episode it's different in style to the 'Alex' episode, but my pronunciation hasn't improved! My episode this Saturday is a Fred Vargas crime novel, so I keep trying. Hopefully, I am failing better every time!

I took a deep breath, I engaged my brains cells and...I saw what you did there!

I reposted your poem after sharing a post to a Book Trust Christmas campaign for children, and your poem really spoke to what I was thinking about when I saw that campaign. We need the 'ghosts' of these stories in our minds. They make us more empathetic. Thank you for writing it.

Ah, well two things:
1) Clearly, I can't spell and I can't comprehend. Hopefully, that is just a result of having a busy week at work, and my brain giving up.
2) I take back everything I put in the previous comment! However, I'll leave it there as a lesson to really use my brain cells next time.

She was in a (sadly unsuccessful) ITV adaptation of Sparkling Cyanide with Oliver Ford Davies, and their central relationship was wonderful. It was warm and playful. She just brought life to every role I saw her in, plus I regularly quote that line from Shirley Valentine after hearing BS!

Now I'm not an aficionado of Poe. I mean it took three goes and Google to spell 'aficionado', and I nearly spelt Poe with the Telly Tubbies' spelling.

However, the fact that the residence didn't just disappear it left one solitary brick to be rescued seems apt for this author. Don't know why...

The David Hockney mug is definitely going to be gift for someone at Christmas. Thanks for solving that problem!

I read 'Bookshops and Bonedust' this year. I didn't know about Travis' work or the series. It was part of my attempt to read more widely (i.e. break my addiction to crime novels!) It was a heartwarming fantasy/mystery with emotionally engaging characters. Looking forward to listening to this!

Ouch (and congrats)!

The sunset, the glasses, the bonfire, the children of the corn...it's as horrifying as I remember. Thanks for the memory!

FYI - I really enjoyed it. I've been a vegetarian for decades but the tandoori chicken sounded amazing, actually, so did the lunch boxes as well!

Inside: What is that sensation I have? Am I looking forward to it? Why do I have the urge to dig out some rosary beads and start praying?!

Typing: I'm looking forward to it.

I was bracing myself for this being the fireworks PIF which ends with a group of blind children walking slowly towards the screen with the sun behind them. Perhaps I imagined that, that's the problem with growing up with these, you hope that you did imagine them.

Thanks for highlighting this. I need to learn this lesson. Perhaps I might listen too passively to podcasts that I love, and I should approach them in the way I approach my own work. I am more aware of who and what I'm promoting now I'm podcasting, I should listen for that in others. Thanks again.

I'm looking forward to listening to this! I've been going to panels at the Harrogate Crime Writing Festival for the last few years, and Vaseem is always a great person to listen to especially if you're an aspiring (or in my case staring into space) writer. He is so engaging and encouraging.

I can't see anything unusual, creepy or scary in what this woman is doing, I've defied the laws of gravity in order to avoid talking to people at work. Standard operating procedure when you can't run away, cling to the ceiling and hope they don't look up.

Just wanted to say thanks for for the Kino Lorber October video on YouTube. You had 'Radioland Murders' which I haven't seen in donkeys years, and I absolutely loved. I'd forgotten the name of it, but now it's on my Christmas list. It's crazy that it was directed by Mel Smith. Thanks again!

I got really close to the photo to see if they had their hands up and were pouring water on themselves because that would be funny, since they are on a vase but I couldn't quite tell...then, it turned out I was totally overthinking it. Not something I usually find myself doing, to be honest!
