At #MCAtlanta there was a surprise Dandan tournament! 600 people entered, but I was the only person undefeated in the swiss with 7-0. Quarterfinals gave me my first loss. Placed 5th overall, which earned me a slabbed 5th Edition Dandan trophy! Thanks for the fun event @mtgsecretlair.com

I'm pretty happy with the care that was put into the presentation and authenticity of this... new game boy package experience. Its got a well done manual, the cart itself has nice touches, and the game works on all my hardware! Long wait, but they did a great job with it.

Funny story, my Kirby's Dreamland 2 (GB) save battery died a while ago. While I was replacing it, I accidentally melted the top of the cartridge with a soldering iron! Luckily, I've been able to rectify that mistake by completely remaking the cart and transplanting the internals 😬 #Kirby

Picked up a mad cheap Mario Picross (GB) in japan. The only catch was that it was an obviously damaged cart. BUT the internals were fine, so via the magic of Etsy I got a new shell and some stickers, transplanted the internals, and bam! Good as new! #RetroGaming #Gameboy

Pocket Monsters Green was giving me some launch errors, so I gave the contacts an isopropyl alcohol wash. Surprising amount of dirt came up! #Gameboy

Got fully bit by the gashapon bug this month. The Ensemble Gundam capsules wound up being the coolest ones by far, whole-ass high detail model stuffed into the capsules

Got a pretty good haul of gameboy games while I was in Japan! Was also fun to ask for Twinkle Tale (mega drive) and be told it was ~$1000. Too rich for my blood 😅

Here's a peak at the process for a #Brawlhalla signature attack! #Thea side boots was originally done up to have a huge shockwave cone. This proved to be too much, and we cut the cone for balance concerns. BUT we kept the charge and dash aspects!

People seem to like the #Squigly anim I posted! Here's a step by step process of that. Lab Zero sent roughs of the attack and I, essentially, did inks for all the frames. But a lot of the #Skullgirls magic happened with the cleanup artists, who added the colors after inks were done!

#Squigly was the first #Skullgirls character I worked on. You might notice some blue lines drawn in, this was to help with recoloring efforts. Different dresses and makeup were some of the things the team decided to bake in early on.

I had the foresight to make a process shot of that #Bikini #Blonde! Clipstudio has handy easy-access 3d model stuff that you can use as reference for any number of things. Very common in manga production, turns out.

This is probably the last concept I did that made it into #Skullgirls in a more noticeable fashion. #RoboFortune was a fun, super jokey character, so naturally the cat had to do laser stuff. This became her crouching medium punch.

This was a fun #Eliza concept that didn't actually wind up making it into #Skullgirls. At least, not that I'm aware of. But I always liked it! Maximized the whole two-body-blood-bending thing in a fun way. Alas, not enough room for every idea to make it in.

This concept got put into #Skullgirls almost one for one. #Eliza can go into #Sekhmet mode, and this bloody khopesh stab is medium attack (medium punch or medium kick).
